Women's Counselling

"I can't do this anymore. Something needs to change"

  • Do you feel like you've reached your limit, but are unsure of what you need or want,  just knowing that whatever you are experiencing right now cannot continue?

  • Do you feel like you no longer know who you are?

  • Do you feel disconnected from your life and from yourself, from your partner?

  • Do you feel numb, as if you can no longer connect with joy?

  • Are you burnt out?

  • Are you tired of being the strong one who holds everything together?

  • Perhaps you’ve spent years raising your children, being a supportive partner, a loyal friend, but in the process, you have lost yourself.

  • Maybe you crave deeper connection, but don’t know how to articulate this, or even how to begin.

  • Perhaps you feel disconnected from your body, like you’re living in your head rather than truly inhabiting yourself?

  • Perhaps you are carrying old pain or trauma that still shows up in your body as tension, fatigue, or shutdown?

  • Perhaps you are recovering from the end of a relationship, or a betrayal.

  • Perhaps you have tried talk therapy, but things haven’t shifted.

  • If you a want a therapy that includes your body, and your mind - somatic work offers a way to reconnect to your inner world, your body, your partner, your joy.

  • I support women who feel emotionally exhausted, burnt-out, lost, disconnected from themselves, or stuck in old relational patterns to rebuild safety, self-trust and identity using compassionate, trauma informed somatic based therapy.

“Healing is not about becoming perfect.

It is about coming home to yourself”

Samsakra counselling and therapy is based on Whadjuk Noongar boodja. I acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the Traditional custodians of country throughout Australia and pay respects to all Elders past, present and emerging. I acknowledge the continuing connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to land, water and communities-places of aged old ceremonies, of celebration, and renewal, and their unique contribution in the life of these lands
